A Bit About Shae..
I’m Shae Sullivan— a spouse, 2 dogs & cat mom, female tattoo artist, and the owner of Haunted Heart Tattoo Co. in Tulsa, OK. I started my apprenticeship in 2015, did my first tattoo on August 2nd 2015, and became fully licensed in North Dakota in 2016. Me and my husband moved to Oklahoma in 2019 and that’s when I was introduced to Haunted Heart. Since then, I’ve been telling stories through skin—one memory, one symbol, one soul at a time.
My work spans realism, floral, color, geometric, surrealism, neo-traditional, and custom pieces that don’t fit a box. But at the center of it all, I’m a storyteller. Whether it’s a cover-up, a piece of grief ink, or something deeply symbolic, I believe tattoos are a way to reclaim your skin—and your narrative.
I’ve won awards in black and gray, realism, geometric, cover-ups, and new age tattoos—and once, hilariously, for a “Biggest Regerts” piece. I take my craft seriously, but I don’t take myself too seriously. I believe tattooing should be professional, sacred, and human.
My personal life has shaped my work in ways I don’t hide. I live with Type 1 diabetes, have known loss and struggle, and carry my own haunted heart into everything I do. That’s why I created this space—for people who are healing, transforming, or honoring something they’ve survived.
Whether you’re here to mark a memory, reclaim a part of your body, or just wear something beautiful that means something—I’ve got you.
By appointment only. I hold space for stories, not just ink. Please TEXT me your inquiries and please be patient with my response times.
