James Barrow has been a tattoo artist for 21 plus years. His career started as a piercer here in beautiful Tulsa Oklahoma in 2003, which carried him for a year or so until he ended up in Roswell, NM where he started tattooing at House Of Pain Tattoo. He instantly fell in love with the art and the brotherhood he found in the industry. His initial focus was on South-western styled Chicano art, lettering and smaller tattoos. He quickly outgrew that shop and found a partner which he opened his own spot. Fast forward to 2015, he found himself homeless with his 5th child on the way. He was drug-addicted and living in his car until he found sobriety. He brought his daughter home to live with him and never looked back! Now focused with new energy, he came back to tattooing motivated for success. That was ten years ago, now he's here for his family and clientele to provide beautiful art for you and do custom large scale designs or dainty small fine line tattoos for his wonderful clients.
